Pippin is a registered PtHA gelding, 21 years old, who stands 13.3 hh.  He has spent the past few years working in a hunter/jumper stable, used in a lesson program.  He is very accustomed to getting lots of personal attention, grooming, bathing, trailering, etc.  His ground manners are excellent and he is safe for any level to handle.  Pippin is completely sound and healthy with no special care needs.  

Pippin is a forward moving pony in need of a confident and quiet rider, intermediate or above.  He has no bad behaviors, but he will get strong/speedy to the fences and requires a rider skilled in controlling speed without using a strong hand.  Because of this, he was not useful in the lesson program and will  prefer less changes of riders. He has been shown up to 3' over fences, has an auto lead change, and is unflappable away from home. He would be best suited to a small adult or an experienced child.  We think Pippin would love to try his hand in the foxhunting and eventing world!
